What a perfect weekend!
and for those of you who came later in the day,
I will try harder next year to make more stuff;)

She looks familiar...

After having painted her so many times,
making the little deer girl
 into a figure was a breeze!

Yippee, my holiday show
is exactly one week away!
The little deer girl and her sisters
are excited to make their debut.

10 years ago today...

10 years ago today I was on HGTV
demonstrating two Halloween projects.
The video footage of the episode seems to have disappeared
but here is a description
of the "Crafters Coast to Coast" episode:
 Creating Halloween decorations with Bobbleheads.
Also: cloth zombie dolls;
tombstones made from plastic floral foam;
 a whimsical pumpkin pillow

Wow, Ghoultide Gathering is

that not all are as fond of Halloween as I am?!
So here is a gentle woodland Halloween painting
that might get a few of you to change
your mind about my favorite holiday;)

Signage and Mascots for Ghoultide Gathering.
These figures are based on
one of my favorite paintings

LOVE this version of the song
on youtube by Tavi Gevinson
or listen to the original version
(even better)
written about Woody Allen and Mia Farrow
by Dory Previn
BTW, as of 2013
Dory was still performing this song;
Woody is such a DOG!!!
(and what about Mia?!)
